We all have a body that lives in the present moment. It just exists here and now.

Our mind, however, LOVES to travel to the past, future and, my personal fave, imaginary land. The mind is very rarely being present in the now.

The spirit, I currently believe, has to play by physical laws since we live in a physical universe, so it's just chilling waiting for the mind to be connected to the body before it can connect with us.
